We have put together information on our terms and conditions to cover any order from The Bramble Tree Ltd whether a bespoke kitchen or an item of furniture, whether the order is placed over the phone, online or at our factory – you will always be able to find the most up to date version on our website. We have tried to keep it concise and as simple as possible. We suggest that you have a quick look through now and save a copy just in case you have any questions for us in the future.
Our Kitchens & Furniture
At The Bramble Tree Limited, our craftsmen are constructing our cabinets to very high standards and with quality, natural materials to ensure we make strong, durable kitchens & furniture, but that said, it is not indestructible.
Natural, knotted timber is a beautiful living product that is part of natures’ own footprint and it will always want to move. Your units may expand and shrink as the temperature and humidity in your home changes, but our skilled carpenters build your units in a way that can help to counteract the movement and our finishing team use the best products on the market to block the visibility of knots. We do also work with knot free materials so please do talk to our designer about your choices. Just know that small changes are completely normal and nothing to worry about.
The descriptions and images on our website are there to help you and are accurate. We should point out though that in looking at the colours of some of our kitchens, these can look different on a computer monitor so before choosing your colour, please do check these against your own colour charts.
Your Kitchen Order
Buying your new kitchen is exciting but there are a few bits of communication that we will need to make sure you have seen first. This includes a completed set of kitchen drawings and a quote. As this can be a big purchase, we only require a deposit of 50% (non-refundable), with the remaining 50% due 3 days prior to your delivery date.
The only other thing to say about our kitchens is that, if you need to change the day your kitchen will be delivered that’s absolutely fine, but if the delay is for one week or more there will be a £50 weekly charge made to cover the cost of storage, as it is likely your kitchen will have already been made by this point.
Delivery
We will let you know at least two weeks prior to delivery when we are able to deliver your kitchen. We will give you a 3 hour time slot 2 days beforehand and will also keep you up to date on the day with our estimated time of arrival.
Please make doubly sure your kitchen units will fit through narrow doorways, around tight turns, up staircases and underneath ceilings. We will not be held responsible for units that we cannot physically get into your property.
While we will always do our very best to make sure your order is delivered on the day we say it will be, very rarely unforeseen delays can happen. It goes without saying that we will reschedule as soon as possible.
Cancellation
Our bespoke fitted kitchens are made very specifically to your requirements/design and from plans that will have been drawn and approved, therefore we cannot return any deposit paid once our Carpenters have started to build your kitchen units.
Guarantee
We build our kitchens to last a lifetime and we guarantee the structural integrity of our kitchens in case they warp, bow or crack more than we would expect to happen to them naturally.
What we don’t cover….
As we do not offer a fitting service, we cannot take responsibility for damage caused to your kitchen by your chosen installer.
